Refugee Hope Partners

Just two miles down the road from Saint Andrews is a thriving refugee community. Refugee Hope Partners (RHP) strives to engage, equip, and encourage our refugee neighbors with love and faith so they can grow and flourish in their new environment. Serving over 1,200 hundred refugees from over 40 countries, RHP collaborates with local churches to provide support to adults and families. These families come to the US under refugee status, and many have spent years displaced from their country of origin. Support services are based on four holistic program pillars: education and enrichment, health and wellness, faith and community, and equipping and advocacy. These services help families successfully become independent and active members of our community.

“I have learned so much from volunteering at Cedar Point over the last few years. I have seen the RHP staff and volunteers working with the refugee families who are from many different countries and doing so with respect, love, and faith. I have witnessed the transformation of these families turning from loss and isolation to a sense of belonging and hope for a brighter future!”
